Dean graduated with his CA designation in 1980 and started Dean Mason & Company in March 1987. He specialized in tax while working for a national firm prior to starting the practice.
In 2009, Dean received the honor of being elected to fellowship with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, recognizing his dedication to community service. Dean is most proud of the development of his team at Dean Mason & Company. They are young, energetic, very well educated and dedicated to providing excellent customer client service.
Dean is a committed community volunteer. He is currently the firm's representative to the Northern Resource Solutions Group, the treasurer and a director on the Prince George Railway Museum and a member of the Prince George Community Foundation grants committee. He is also currently the Finance Director for Borealis Carbon Offsets Ltd.
Matt was born and raised in Prince George and began his accounting career as a co-op student in 1997 with Dean Mason Chartered Accoutants, while attending UNBC. Since then, he has attained his Chartered Accountant designation and worked his way up to becoming a partner with the firm.
Seeing the difference he is making in his clients' businesses is Matt's greatest pleasure in his job. As he continues his career Matt is looking forward to working with clients who have research and development within their businesses. Matt is married with four children. For relaxation, he and his wife enjoy the torture of road bike racing and running.

Miranda joined Dean Mason & Company in 1999 as a UNBC Co-op student and loved it so much that she stayed and earned her CA designation in 2004. She is an experienced professional and is currently working as tax manager, as well as monitoring quality control within the firm. Miranda always enjoys meeting new people. Married with two children, Miranda enjoys spending time with family and friends.

We are delighted to announce, Janice M. Bleecker as a partner with DMC Chartered Accountants. We are truly honoured to welcome Janice into the partnership.
Janice is respected by the team, her clients and is very supportive of the community. She is an active member of the Yellowhead Rotary Club and has taken on leadership roles in other organizations in the community.
Janice came to the firm five years ago as a manager and subsequently assumed responsibility as Senior Manager of audit services. She also oversees the relationships and professional services of a large client group. Professionally, Janice is committed to excellence , customer service, client relationships while ensuring high ethical and compliance standards. She understands that value creation means helping clients understand business issues and working to help them build stronger businesses.
Janice and her husband, Jerry have made Prince George their home. They have two lovely daughters and both role up their sleeves to help build a better community through Jerry's extra-curricular school activities and Janice's community service.

Doreen has been in the accounting field for more than twenty-five years and has been a member of the Dean Mason & Company team since 1995. She started her career at Dean Mason & Company in the personal income tax department at the firm, but rapid growth of the firm quickly provided Doreen the opportunity to prepare corporate financial statements as well a a manageral role in the personal tax depratment. Away from the office currently, Doreen enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren.

Dineen joined Dean Mason & Company in 2000 after moving to Prince George from Victoria. She received her education at Camosun College and worked for a Victoria CA firm for ten years. An extremely competent accounting technician, Dineen prepares personal tax returns along with corporate tax returns and year ends. She is married with two children.

Kevin joined Dean Mason & Company in 2004. Kevin is the eighth UNBC and Cooperative Education student to successfully complete his designation and has received his Chartered Accountant designation. Kevin provides computer suppport services and applications to our clients. He intends to continue his education in professional IT services. Kevin was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and moved to Prince George to attend UNBC to further his education. He received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Accounting and Finance.He participates in sports (especially golf, baseball and hiking), enjoys reading and playing on his computer.

Brenda Lank is a foundational member of the DMC team. She brings years of public practice experience to the team and a humanistic training approach. Brenda received her CGA in 1990 and worked in public practice until 2006 when she decided to apply her skills to industry. We were fortunate when Brenda decided to return to public practice and to DMC as our quality assurance review manager and as the primary trainer for the firm. Brenda’s favorite part of her job at DMC is working with people. She loves helping other team members develop and grow and works with clients to help them understand complex business problems. In her personal life Brenda loves spending time with her three daughters and husband. On a fun note Brenda has eagle eye vision and can spot deer on the roadside without comparison. This skill transfers to her work at DMC ensuring our accounting team is producing quality files and that our students are trained effectively.

Lida came from a background in Forestry with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management before joining the Dean Mason team in 2005 as a student. She loves coming to work to a happy place with a family environment. Outside the office, Lida enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog, travelling, hiking, walking, and reading.

Terezia recently earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance. She joined Dean Mason & Company in May 2008 and is now in the Chartered Accountant School of Business program pursuing her CA designation. Terezia has lived here most of her life and likes to relax by spending time with family and friends. She is a volunteer in the arts community and also enjoys gardening and working out.

Kevin became a member of the Dean Mason team in May 2008 and being socially inclined, enjoys working on a team. Originally from Terrace, he attained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNBC and is now a student in the Chartered Accountant School of Business program working toward his CA designation. Kevin likes living in Prince George and outside of the office, he enjoys playing soccer, tennis and golf, and at one time worked as a golf instructor.

Tao joined the DMC- Dean Mason & Company team in August 2010 after she graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia with a B. Comm degree with a major in Accounting and Finance. Tao is outgoing and energetic. Her considerate nature makes her a great addition to the team. Outside of the office she enjoys a variety of activities such as hiking, tennis, squash, skiing and loves to travel. At home with her husband and son she is a fabulous cook specializing in authentic Chinese food.

Organized, communicative and creative, Judy is a founding member of the DMC team. She has gained a wealth of knowledge about DMC, the team and her clients. As Director of Administration and Human Resources she manages the marketing, human resources and daily operations of the firm.
To enhance her vast business and knowledge, Judy obtained her MBA from UNBC. Judy enjoys implementing new and innovative ways to provide value to clients and the team at DMC. Helping team members’ with personal planning and development is part of what makes her role rewarding. Happy clients who build strong relationships with the DMC team members are how Judy measures the firm’s success.
Judy believes in giving back to the community. Currently she is a member of the Prince George Downtown Rotary and serves on the Rotary Auction and Membership Committees; she also is a Director on the Board of Governors at UNBC.

Sandra has lived in the Prince George area for more than forty years and has seen the tremendous growth and change in the region's industries and amentities. Sandra has worked in the bookkeeping field for the past fifteen years. She joined Dean Mason & Company in the fall of 2002 and likes working in the family atmosphere. Away from the office, Sandra enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends or simply relaxing at home on the farm.

Colleen started with Dean Mason & Company in November 2008 as a billing clerk and administrative assistant. Colleen came to the position with extensive experience in the field. Some of her previous positions have been as a technical assistant, unlicensed realtor assistant, Human Resources manager, and executive administrative assistant. She has also worked as a payroll and benefits clerk and in Accounts Receivable.
A relative newcomer to Prince George, Colleen moved here from Kelowna in 2006, but originally hails from Newfoundland. She finds it a pleasure to work with people who have the ability to enjoy laughter while still accomplishing their work.
Colleen enjoys spending time with her young son and daughter, and also the family's new aquired Newfoundland puppy, Jasmine. For relaxation, Colleen spends time as a Nia teacher which is a fusion type of fitness that involves full body, mind, and spirit techniques which include martial, healing, and dance arts.
